The Desktop

The Pinboard has been modified to make it more capable and easier to use. Icons may now be tidied to any of the four corners, and icons and windows are now treated consistently
The Configure application has been expanded and made more modular, with the aim that it should be the single place where all options may be set. To this end, application developers may store and alter their options through through the common interface.
The Screensaver now has a plug-in interface, allowing animations to be displayed instead of a blank screen.
The Help system now pops-up its window near the mouse pointer, instead of at a fixed point on the screen.
The Nested Wimp has also been enhanced, mainly to support the new Pinboard system.
