• PC support will be provided through the PCI bus.
• Aleph One are looking at a range of third-party cards, which they will integrate with their existing Acorn drivers.
• The basic PC PCI card consists of a processor, memory and a PCI interface. This does mean that the PC and Phoebe will have separate memory systems.
• The PC card will be able to talk to the Phoebe peripherals and drives by taking temporary control of the PCI bus.
• This method of PC support has already been adopted by the likes of Apple and Sun.
