The 16 Bit Minnie Audio Card provides the following upgrade for a RiscPC 600:
Hardware
The board attaches to a 6 pin header on the main RiscPC circuit board.
An additional 4 pin socket is also provided to fit to a 4 pin header fitted on the RiscPC board.
The output from the Minnie card is then available from the internal speaker or via the headphone socket at the rear of the RiscPC.
Software
The software is provided on disc and should be installed onto your hard disc.
The sample playback module support a full range of sample bits and types:
The playback module can be used from an application provided or from *commands or SWI's.
Support
This card provides 16 bit support for Acorn RiscPCs that do not have 16 bit sound already fitted. It is used by the !PC486 software supplied by Acorn to provide Wave playback from the PC domain.
This card is the same as the Acorn RiscPC sound upgrade (ACD05).
