The ESP Serial Port MIDI driver connects an Acorn RiscPC to any Synthesiser or tone generator which provides a serial port connection. This includes the Yamaha MU10 and other Yamaha MU tone generators and the Roland SC88. These sound boxes come with MIDI In and Out connections so the serial driver can also provide full MIDI input and output connections to another MIDI device such as a MIDI Keyboard. Future versions of the drivers will support the 32 channels facilities of the more advanced Yamaha tone generators and the Roland SC88.
