Unless otherwise indicated, all goods are sent by the most economical way possible, e.g. second class or parcel post. Items have a letter after the price which indicates the carriage charge (no letter indicates that carriage is free). An 'a' refers to £1 post and packaging, 'c' to £3 and so on through the alphabet. If you are ordering three or more items with the same letter, then the carriage goes up to the next letter.
For example, three 'a' items will become one 'b', i.e. £2. Eight 'a', one 'b' and two 'c' items will become a 'd' (six of the 'a's become two 'b's, which gives three 'b's hence three 'c's hence £4). Twenty 'a's and an 'm' will still be an 'm' and so forth. Anything from 'l' (£10) upwards will be next working day courier delivery in the UK. It's quite straightfoward!
If you would like your order sent first class then please tick the option on the ordering page (adds 50p per main item).
Please add an additional £18 to courier deliveries involving a sea crossing. Saturday courier delivery is an additional £15. These prices include transit liability, for goods which are damaged by the courier. Actual insurance of goods covering accidents, Acts of God etc. is not included and we will not be responsible or liable for any goods damaged in this way. Should you want this cover, please let us know beforehand.
All carriage is charged at as close to cost as we can work out. Therefore, payment by debit/credit card is preferred. Small/light items are sent by Airmail. Courier delivery is usually by TNT.
