Updated 25th June, 1998.
The Wakefield '98 Show was every bit as interesting as it promised to be.
Without doubt, the stars of the show were the two prototypes, Phoebe and the Peanut Portable.
Phoebe was the main topic of conversation on the Acorn stand and in the two Acorn presentations. This year we were treated to not only Chris Cox and Peter Bondar, but also Dave Walker, giving a walk around the Phoebe design.
On the Innovative Media Solutions stand, the specifications of the Peanut were freely discussed. IMS were clearly receptive to visitors comments, and were keen to gauge people's interest.

Many thanks to the Members of the Wakefield Acorn User Group for putting on such an excellent show once again. Many thanks also to all the Developers and Staff of the companies which exhibited, for giving up their weekend for our enjoyment!
