The Veggie Network

The Veggie Network is a new venture aimed at all vegetarians who would like to make friends or pen-friends via the Internet, or find romance with like-minded people.

Our service will be for registered members only, and will guarantee you as much confidentiality as you require.

The basic elements of the service will be as follows:-

The Veggie Network will be for vegetarians and vegans only.
Membership will be by online registration only.
Only members will be able to access our pages, by giving their password.
Members will be able to publish details about themselves for the benefit of others seeking friends or partners.
A photograph can be included if required.
You only need to give the information which you want to be made public.
All initial communication with other members will be via ourselves by quoting a membership number. This means that no-one ever needs to know your identity unless you wish to tell them.
We will not under any circumstances reveal names, addresses or other personal details about members, either to other members or to anyone else.
Members will be encouraged to organise meetings and social events in their locality, and details of these will be publicised on the site.
If there is sufficient interest, we could set up a premium rate telephone number, where members could record personal messages and other members could listen to these messages.
Any member who behaves in any way which causes offence to other members will have their membership terminated.

A small fee would have to be charged for membership, in order to pay for our administration costs in maintaining an efficient service. It would also act as protection for members, by ensuring that people who register are serious about their intentions. Once the membership fee has been paid, all other services including contacts with other members would be free of charge.
