Emulators on other emulators

Some emulators for the PC, will run quite happily on the PC emulator. I've compiled a list here of more than 40 of the emulators for the PC which have been tested. I aim to test them on a fairly recent version of PC Pro (and PC card). Many of the emulators are untested, if you get the chance please tell me how you get on. Follow the links on the emulator name for more specific details - those emulators which work well enough, I have/will get round to, providing a specific review and setup advice page on the AEP, instead of the the link pointing to the emulator's real home page (marked with a *).

A big thank you to Michael König who added a lot of the URLs and emulators, and did much of the testing on his PC card. He also pointed out that according to his tests the RISC OS ports of emulators are often faster on an ARM6 than the PC versions, even when you have a 586 PC card! Michael's card is in fact an AMD-5x86, which is about P75 but has been overclocked from 133MHz to 166MHz and performs about P90 speed, though it's slowed by graphics and harddisc emulation.

You should note that, according to tests so far, only Psion and MADM work on Acorn's software only emulator (v1.82).
