The
HP11 is an emulator of the Hewlett Packard 11 programmable calculator.
This is Archimedes version 1.0, based on the code of Amiga version 1.01
by David Gay and ported to the Acorn
by Richard Francis. The program
emulates an HP11C calculator. Everything is there, including the program
mode (with the instructions displayed as usual, as numbers...). By default,
it's even as slow. It multitasks under RISC OS, except in fast program
mode, where it hogs the processor - but not usually for very long ! (and
not when it's PAUSEd, even in fast mode). You can save and load the stack
contents, or the program listing.
I should think the usage of this 'emulator' is very limited, I myself have never seen a real HP11 calculator, nor even heard of it. You may however find it quite interesting, but I should think it is more for those who are familiar with the HP11 than for the standard user.

I don't think you'll find any software written for this calculator
- I guess the whole point is to write your own.
